I have an art block.

Nyeh . . .

So after finishing Pokemon Black I've been really inspired to make a Nuzlocke comic. But I have a problem, the day Black and White came out I discovered that the case that I keep my favorite nintendo DS games is missing. So not only did I miss Zorua I now have four pokemon games to add to my list of missing ones (and not to mention my layton games as well )

The first time I beat the elite four was on my diamond, and my first nuzllocke challenge was on pearl. And I pray that they're not gone forever like my SoulSilver, because I got way more upset than I should over that.


The most amount of effort I have ever put into a game went into my SoulSilver. My team was in the 90's and I got my first level 100 pokemon (Armaldo <3) on that cartridge. Not to mention nearly 300 hours logged into it  and all of my favorite pokemon sent over from my GBA games, including my shiny Voltorb. Last year was tough for me, so I used that game as a crutch and when I lost it (left it on an airplane) I was struck pretty hard. I keep meaning to do some art to commemorate that game, but I get too sad every time I try. So here's to you guys, the best team ever. I miss you irrationally. And I still keep wishing somehow you'll make it home.

I am beyond excited.
I've been a fan since before I could even read the screen.
(a lot of guesswork was involved and lets just say that I never made it to Mt.Moon until I learned how to)


To me, its more than just a game.
It was an integral part of my childhood, and I'll never get sick of that repetitive gameplay.

So bring it on Nintendo.

Bring it on.

I feel somewhat obligated to announce that I might be missing for a week or so, in case it takes me a while to respond to a comment or something you left me.

Typically I'm not also one to brag, or share information online for that matter, but I really can't resist sharing that I'm going to stay at the Hôtel de Glace. And yes, it's even fancier than it sounds, because it's made entirely out of ice. To say I'm excited would be an understatement, I mean this is a childhood wish come true, so I'm pretty much having braingasms right here.

They may also be partly induced from my new love of Professor Layton games. I'd been hopelessly looking around for the Curious Village for a couple months, until yesterday when I eventually decided to cave and bought Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box for "the ride up to Quebec,"Well 100 puzzles and 24 hours later it doesn't look like its gonna last until then. Honestly it's just a beautiful game with a clever little story that certainly digs up some nostalgia, with it's point and click mechanics, from the old PC games I used to play. You know, like Fredi the Fish, Putt-Putt, Cluefinders and all those other fantastic nineties children's games that you've forgotten about? So expect some fan art very soon, because if I can't keep my hands off my old clunky DS, it's likely to be done in a few hours. Which is very sad because it's such a brilliant game.

(Yes keep crying Luke, and know that we may never get Layton-kyōju VS Gyakuten Saiban in America if you don't sell more games)


Anyways my activity on here is likely to be slightly intermittent until about the 23rd or so, because I've also been invited to go skiing with a good friend of mine (aren't I the lucky one this week ?). So once again, I apologize if I'm late to respond to any comments, this time I actually have an excuse and I'm not just actually being my social anxiety suffering self.
